1. What is the vaccination period under PIDVSS2015/16?
Eligible person with intellectual disability may receive the 2015/16 seasonal influenza vaccination from 15 October 2015 onwards. Children aged under 9 years old who have never received any seasonal influenza vaccination before will need two doses of the 2015/16 vaccine given at least four weeks apart. Only one dose of 2015/16 vaccination is required for those who have received one or more doses of seasonal influenza vaccination in previous seasons.
