The Government Vaccination Programme (GVP) 2023/24 will be launched on 5 October 2023. The Government will continue to provide free seasonal influenza vaccination and pneumococcal vaccination to the following eligible Hong Kong residents:
A) Eligible groups for free seasonal influenza vaccination
B) Eligible elderly aged 65 years or above for free pneumococcal vaccination
Various eligible groups for seasonal influenza vaccination will be covered by phases. The pneumococcal vaccination for the elderly continues throughout the year.
