Residents of Residential Care Homes for the Elderly or the Persons with Disabilities
The Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases recommends Residents of Residential Care Homes for the Elderly or the Persons with Disabilities to receive the seasonal influenza vaccination to protect from infection and its complications.
Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme
Under the Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme, residents of Residential Care Homes for the Elderly or the Persons with Disabilities are eligible for free influenza vaccination; Residents of RCHE and residents of RCHD who are aged 65 years or above who have never received pneumococcal vaccine before are eligible for one dose of free 23-valent pneumococcal vaccination.
