“Seasonal Influenza Vaccination” Expert Opinion (In Cantonese)


Prof YUEN Kwok Yung (Chair of Infectious Diseases, Department of Microbiology, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong)
Prof YUEN Kwok Yung advised that all members of the public aged 6 months or above, except those with special situation, should receive seasonal influenza vaccination for personal protection.

Prof LAU Yu Lung (Chair Professor of Paediatrics, Doris Zimmern Professor in Community Child Health, Department of Paediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong)
Prof LAU Yu Lung advised that children should receive seasonal influenza vaccination to reduce the risk of influenza related complications and hospital admissions.
