A spokesman for the Department of Health said there had been 246 newly confirmed cases of human swine influenza (Influenza A H1N1) in the 24 hours to 2.30pm today (August 16).
The new cases involve 131 males and 115 females, aged between nine months and 84 years.
This brings to 7,071 the total number of human swine influenza cases in Hong Kong.
