The “Healthy League” is a set of seven mascots created by the Department of Health to promote cancer prevention. Captain AC together with Greenie, Airy, Buddy, Bright, Sporty and Joy, will share health messages with the public, especially the younger generation, in an interesting, lively and positive way.

Captain AC

Captain AC is the leader of the “Healthy League”. Being the righteous and smart one, Captain AC strives to lead members of the “Healthy League” and disseminate health related messages to people on Earth. Captain AC is also very protective and will take care of other members of the “Healthy League”.

Greenie

Greenie has a positive attitude. Being green and sunny, Greenie loves to eat fruit and vegetables. Rumours say that Greenie sleeps on a bed of vegetables!

Airy

Airy likes fresh air and can fly. Airy’s wings work miracles as they change colour when tobacco smoke is detected. Self-confident and lively, Airy will definitely be of help!

Buddy

The sociable and cheerful Buddy loves to meet with friends and members of the “Healthy League”. Buddy organises gatherings and outings for his friends. Despite sociable and going out for drinks with friends frequently, Buddy does not like alcohol. Buddy just loves water.

Bright

Bright is very popular among the members of the “Healthy League”. Being extremely health conscious, Bright strongly believes that everyone has a role in keeping oneself healthy. Bright achieves this by practicing healthy living habits, watching out for changes in the body, picking up early symptoms of illness and seeking medical advice promptly.

Sporty

As the name suggests, Sporty loves exercising. Basketball, football and running are Sporty’s favourites. Sporty enjoys motivating and encouraging other members of the “Healthy League”.

Joy

Joy is friendly, loving and caring. Joy’s daily routine is highly disciplined. Apart from rising early and going to bed early, Joy keeps a close watch on everyone’s dietary intake and body weight!
