Crude birth rate (CBR) and crude death rate (CDR), 1981 - 2024

In Hong Kong, the crude birth rate (CBR) decreased from 16.8 per 1 000 population in 1981 to 7.1 in 2002, then rebounded significantly to 13.5 in 2011 but decreased to 4.9# in 2024.  The crude death rate (CDR) increased from 4.8 per 1 000 population in 1981 to 7.0# in 2024.
