Persons aged 50 to 64 years

The Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases recommends persons aged 50 or above to receive the seasonal influenza vaccination to protect from infection and its complications.

Persons aged 50 to 64 years receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance are eligible for free seasonal influenza vaccination under Government Vaccination Programme.

Elderly persons aged 65 years or above

You are eligible to receive subsidised seasonal influenza under the Elderly Vaccination Subsidy Scheme; you are also entitled to receive subsidised pneumococcal vaccination if you are aged 65 years or above and have never received the vaccine before.
