The Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases (SCVPD) recommends Residents of Residential Care Homes (such as Residential Care Homes for the Elderly or Residential Care Homes for Persons with Disabilities) to prioritise receiving seasonal influenza vaccination to protect from seasonal influenza and its complications.
Under Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme (RVP), residents of Residential Care Homes for the Elderly (RCHE) and Residential Care Homes for Persons with Disabilities (RCHD) are eligible for free seasonal influenza vaccination.
