The COVID‑19 vaccination booking system has now been updated to provide free booster appointments for individuals who meet the new priority groups. Eligible persons who have not yet completed the initial dose can also book a free COVID‑19 vaccination.

The Government currently provided LP.8.1 COVID‑19 vaccine to eligible individuals aged six months and older free of charge.

New priority groups included:

- residents of residential care homes for the elderly;

- elderly persons aged 65 years or above who are living in the community;
- persons aged 50 to 64 years with underlying comorbidities;
- persons with immunocompromising conditions aged six months or above; 
- pregnant women; and
- healthcare workers.
