Participating organisations promote relevant health information by organising district activities, including exercise classes, workshops, health talks, carnivals, sports days, home visits, volunteer training, and street booth exhibitions. The Department of Health provides professional support to participating organisations as required, including but not limited to the provisions of relevant health education materials.
The Department of Health organises workshops for participating public housing estates, Healthy Cities projects, and non-governmental organisations. Dietitians from the Hong Kong Dietitians Association and representatives from the Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China share health information and practical tips aligned with the annual theme to the participating organisations, thereby enabling them to further promote and disseminate the key health messages within their communities.
