General Out-patient Clinics / Private Medical Practitioner Clinics

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health has established several surveillance systems in Hong Kong to monitor communicable disease activity at the community and public and private healthcare facilities.  With the participation of different partners, CHP will have a more comprehensive picture of the situation of communicable diseases.  The sentinel surveillance system based at General Out-patient Clinics and private medical practitioner clinics is one of the surveillance systems.

CHP is inviting private medical practitioners in Hong Kong to join the sentinel surveillance system as our sentinel partners, especially those practicing in family medicine, general practice or primary care settings.  Please refer to the letter of invitation to private doctors for details.
